Overview
Khan Academy is the learning platform that Learn and Earn students use to learn Math.
It is very important that you always log in correctly before you start studying, and that you work only on recommended skills. This article will explain how.
Solution
Important: Khan Academy usually doesn't log you in automatically like Dash does. Every day, click on the top Khan Academy lesson on Dash and check that your name and student ID appear on the blue bar, near the top-right corner. If you see "Log in", this means your work may not be tracked, so follow these instructions to log in!
- Click on the first Khan Academy lesson on Dash.
- When you reach Khan Academy, click on the "Log in" option near the top of the page.
- Select "Continue with Google".
- Select your "@2hourlearning.com" account from the list, and accept any messages that come up next.
- You will now be logged in to Khan Academy, and your progress will be saved! If you are taken to a different page instead of your lesson, simply go back to Dash and click on the lesson again. Verify that your name is still near the top-right corner once you reach the lesson.
- Check this every day before studying to make sure that your progress counts and your payments are accurate!
Summary
Always check that your name appears near the top-right corner before studying in Khan Academy. If your name is not there, you need to log in, or your progress may not count!
FAQs
-
I was logged in but my progress still didn't count, what do I do?
Wait at least 48 hours after completing the lesson for the data to synchronize. If you still don't see a badge and you think you should have one, report this through the automated ATLAS chat, one date at a time. -
My next Math lesson on Dash says it's already mastered on Khan Academy, what do I do?
Work on it and master it. It's usually normal that this happens, you can find more details in the article Dash has Khan Academy lessons that I already completed. -
When I log in to Khan Academy, my name is weird, can I change it?
No, never change your username; if you do, your progress may not be tracked correctly. Usually, if your email is something like firstname.lastname@2hourlearning.com, your username in Khan Academy will be something like "FirstnameL1234", this is OK.
If you accidentally changed your username, Contact Us as soon as possible with all the details.
